Peter F. Aguilera Sr., 83, of Davenport, died Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Home in Davenport. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 11:30 am at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Friday from 4-6 pm at the mortuary.
Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Home or St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Davenport.

Peter was born November 7, 1927 in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Aladina (Flores) Aguilera. He was united in marriage to Maria Mercedes Garcia on May 5, 1960 in Chicago.
Mr. Aguilera worked at Farmall International Harvester in Rock Island for twenty-one years retiring in 1985. He belonged to the Quad City Mexican-American Organization, St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He also was a volunteer at the Lulac Club. Peter enjoyed shooting pool and playing cards and was a Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Maria, Davenport, daughters, Lisa (Dennis) Kozich, Tennessee, Kayla Aguilera, Davenport, son, Peter Jr., Davenport and a brother, Frank (Joyce) Aguilera, Chicago. His parents and a brother, Johnny preceded him in death.
