Phillip Y. Burk, 57, of Bettendorf, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017. Per his wishes, he will be cremated with a private family service at a later date. Memorials may be made to Handicap Development Center, Davenport. Online tributes and condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Phil was born November 24, 1959 in Davenport, son of Everette E. and Mary L. (Switzer) Burk. Phil was an avid Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeye fan.
Those left to honor his memory include his siblings: Everette L. (Glenda) Burk, Bartley (Judy) Burk, Forest W. Burk and Wendy A. (Kent) McCartt and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Phil was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rena Reynolds.
