Phyllis Evelyn Behm

Phyllis Behm of Davenport passed on December 4, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Friday, December 7, 2012 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 9-10 am Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.rungemortuary.com.

She was born on July 9, 1929 and was a long time resident of Davenport. She married Paul Behm in December 1949. She retired from Sears Roebuck and Co. in 1986. She was a good mother and caregiver to her parents and loved to play games and tell jokes.

Survivors include her brother Wayne (Ruby) of Green Bay, Wisconsin; two sons Paul Stephen (“Steve”) (Cathie) of Peoria and Robert of Davenport. She has five wonderful grandchildren: Christoper (Amy) of Bettendorf, Jennifer of Bettendorf, Robert II (Christen) of Davenport, and Jacob and Michael, both in Peoria. She also has a great grandchild, Lucas. She is also survived by her cat Fluffy.

She was preceded in death by her mother Vera (1998), father Herman (1993), and husband Paul (1991).

Hopefully the heavens will take her in so that she may bring laughter to her old friends. She is at peace now and re-united with Paul.
