Phyllis Mae Berodt

Services will be Friday, April 14, 2023 at 12 pm at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Friday, from 10 am until the service, at the mortuary. Her final resting place will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may go to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

Phyllis was born December 19, 1944 in Davenport, the daughter of of Frank and Rhoda (Leutt) Fahrenkrug.

She worked in the cosmetology industry for 40 years and also worked at several other places including Ben Franklin, Hobby Lobby and the East Village Flower Shop. She owned several area bars including the Tiddley Tap. Her last job was working for the St. Ambrose Bookstore prior to her retirement. Phyllis proudly served in the Peace Corps during the 1960’s.

Those left to honor her memory include her son, Jason (Erin) Berodt, New London, WI, brother, Larry (Mary Ann) Fahrenkrug, sister-in-law, Rosie Fahrenkrug and special friend, Linda MacCumber, all of Davenport along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Her parents, brother, Richard Fahrenkrug and several cousins preceded her in death.
