From the time when we were children playing together at family get-togethers to teenage years when we would double date or find ourselves at Ted's Drive-In on Brady street or just driving around on 20 cent gasoline, Pete and I have a rich history of friendship that exceeds family relationships. In recent years, Pete and I found many occasions to get together either by visit or just by telephone. I knew that if I called him with a question, or he called me with some advice, it never ended with a 2 minute call, it always was a guaranteed 1 to 2 hour phone call to discuss activities of the day and solve world problems, with a generous helping of jokes and quips thrown in the mix.
My visits to Pete's house were frequent, whether to help fix something or just to catch-up on the latest news. Every visit was a productive mix of personal and professional ideas and opinions.
My older brother, Dave, died a few years ago, and to this day I miss him every day and wish he had not gone so soon. I have the same feelings about Pete- we are cousins, but just as important, he was a good friend and I shall miss him greatly!

I echo my brother Scott's sentiments regarding Pete and all of Uncle Ralph's family. Fond memories. Pete was always kind to our parents and had a close kinship with my brother Jack. And we had forgotten that our brother Dave had been Pete's best man . May the Eternal Triune God grant his grace to Pete's family. Father, Son and Spirit. Three Persons of the Godhead working together in sovereign wisdom, power and love to achieve the salvation of a chosen people. The Father electing, the Son fulfilling the Father's will by redeeming, the Spirit executing the purpose of the Father and Son by renewing. God saves sinners.

Many great memories of my cousin Pete. From early childhood when our family and Uncle Ralph’s family getting together on Christmas Eve to playing softball with Pete during summers of my college years. Always enjoyed being around him....a great sense of humor and having a great laugh. Prayers for his family during this time.

This is the time to recall our friendship and sharing good times with Pete and Barb in our years at First Assembly. Pete had an amazing sense of humor and was always ready with a cheerful comment. My deepest sympathy to his family and church family.

Pete was my brother in Christ and was always an encouragement to me. We shared a special bond as facilitators in Christ Life Solutions as did all who journeyed through the classes. I pray the Holy Spirit bring peace and comfort to the family. Pete would want you to know that you can see him again in heaven if you trust Christ as your savior. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins on the cross, was buried and then rose again!
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
