He worked for various plastics companies in Peoria and the Quad Cities including Shamrock Plastic, Peoria, Hoegner Tool and Plastic, and Servelite.
Ralph enjoyed Chicago Sports teams and collected items for the Blackhawks, Bulls, Bears and Cubs. He was a die-hard Cubs fan. Thank heavens he got to see them win a World Series. Also Ralph was a fan of Iowa football and felt privileged to attend four bowl games with his son. He loved to travel.
Ralph was a loving husband, father and new grandfather. He touched more lives than he ever realized and will be missed by many. He was passionate in his beliefs.
Those left to honor his memory include his loving wife of 40 years, Susan; son, Kyle (Felissa); grandchildren, Emre and Coco; sister, Cheryl (Roger) Swanson; nieces; nephews and the world’s second greatest dog, Sadie.
In addition to his parents Ralph was preceded in death by the world’s greatest dog, Bill.
Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at the University of Iowa Hospitals and a special thank you to the Unity Point Bettendorf staff.
As you continue on this journey, may you travel in peace and once again be whole in spirit and body.
