Randell "Randy" Kilby

Randy Kilby, 67, of Davenport Iowa passed away on November 15, 2025. A visitation will be held at the Runge Mortuary on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 4 – 6 pm. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

Randy was born in Oklahoma in 1958 to Roy and Roberta Kilby on September 12th, 1958. He attended high school at Davenport Central High School. Randy was a long-time member of the local pipefitter union, local 669, and was awarded his 25-year membership certificate in 2003. He retired from the union in 2009.

Randy is survived by his 4 siblings, Robbie, Ray, Ron, and Rebecca. He is also survived by his 3 children: Ben, Brian, and Stevee. As well as 5 stepchildren: Matt, Brandon, Ashley, Heather, and Chelsey. Furthermore, he is survived by 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Roberta Kilby. As well as his wife, Lauri Hepker Kilby (mother of Matt, Brandon, Ashley, Heather, and Chelsea) and his ex-wife, Andorthy Speer (mother of Ben, Brian, and Stevee).

Randy enjoyed woodworking, Ford muscle cars (owned more than a few Fords over the years), and the occasional Bud Light. He disliked Chevy cars and ketchup on steak. He will be missed by those that knew him well. As he starts his next journey, we offer him this advice:
