

Ray Charles Greenlee, Jr., 86, of East Moline, formerly of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Hope Creek Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Military honors will be done by the American Legion, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the CASI or St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Davenport.
Ray was born on September 25, 1930 in LeClaire, Iowa the son of Ray Charles and Leona H. (Unger) Greenlee, Sr. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed many activities: including those at CASI, being outdoors and gardening with his brother. Ray realized his love for flying after his flight to visit his sister. He loved relaxing times with a Pepsi and cigars. Ray cherished his time with family and adored his nieces and nephews.
Those left to honor his memory include his brother, Jack (Betty) Greenlee; brother-in-law, Gerald (Janice) Fuller nieces and nephews: Daniel Greenlee, Susie (Dan) Clark, Kathie Womack, Lenetta Hamor, Cindy (Gary) Rolsch, Valerie Greenlee, Brian Greenlee, and Jackie (Dennis) Kopp; and many great nieces and nephews and many great great nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Betty Brown, Scott Greenlee and Delores Fuller; nephews, Gary, Mike and Dennis Fuller and Barry Brown; niece, Bonnie Martin; great nephew, Jared Womack and great niece Heather Fuller.
