Rebecca Ann Russman, 72, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at her home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Runge Mortuary. Memorials may be made to St. Alban’s Episcopal Food Pantry or the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, Iowa City, IA. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Rebecca was born on July 15, 1943 in Princeton, IL, the daughter of Robert D. and Regina M. (Hamilton) Russman. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the City of Davenport for 24 years retiring in 2004. Survivors include Lorie and Scott Reem, Davenport, Julie and Rusty Van Wetzinga, Bettendorf, and Mary Jo and Paul Martinez, Davenport; grandchildren, Nikki and Megan Reem, Whitney Martinez, and Rusty IV and Joey Van Wetzinga; one brother, Rich and Maxine Russman, Davenport; niece, Mandy Russman Babcock, Bettendorf; great nephew, Ben Babcock and great niece, Katy Babcock. She was preceded in death by infant son, Steven R. Hipple and nephew, Robb Russman.
