Regina M. Singleton

Regina “Jean” M. Singleton, 80, of Davenport, IA passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in Mexico, MO. A private family service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022. Jean was born on July 24, 1941 in Calmar, IA to Michael and Emma (Schneberger) Thiel. She graduated from DeSales High School in 1959. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Singleton on April 23, 1960 in Cedar Rapids, IA. Jean worked as a sales associate for JCPenney, retiring in 1999 after 25 years of service. Jean loved the simple pleasures in life, which included bowling and camping. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving husband, Kenneth; children, Barb (Rob) Jost, Laurel (Dan) Bennett, Don (Julie) Singleton, Rob (Karen) Singleton; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
