I am sorry for your loss. My memory of Rev. Beattie goes way back. I feel I grew up with his family at Newcomb Presbyterian Church.  Rev. Beattie baptized me as well as my daughters and he officiated our wedding. My love and prayers go out to all of you! ❤️

Rev. Beattie was our interim pastor early in my ministry at First Presbyterian Church in East Moline. I will always remember his compassion and guidance.

We were blessed to have Bill as our interim pastor for over 4 years . He and Marian graced our church with the gift of a musical family. Bill and my late father became good friends and I think because of their work ethic and determination. Two of his kids became my dentist until I moved to Florida several years ago. May he rest in peace. Bill left us all spiritually better off. With deepest sympathy. 

I met pastor Bill several years ago through a banking relationship and very much enjoyed the many conversations we had each time.  I was impressed with the number of his kids that he was educating. At a later date I met Mariana in the dental world. What a great man he was and a wonderful family. God made a great one. Blessings to all the Beatties Bob Garman


Wishing Julie and family our deepest sympathy during this very hard time. Having lost my father in February I know how heartbreaking this is for everyone in the family. I hope and pray that everyone finds comfort in the memories each of you will have shared together. We are thinking of you Julie.

I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you all in my prayers. I enjoyed seeing him at get-togethers over many years. He was a kind man who served God and served others.

Words cannot describe the love our family had for Rev. Beattie and his family.  He was a very special gentleman.  He gave us spiritual and emotional support in many ways and situations.  Rev. Beattie officiated at the funerals for my parents and younger brother.  I remember many of his sermons.  Best of all, he performed our marriage service 38 years ago.  He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.  Our love and prayers to Marian and family.

I am so sorry to hear about Rev. Beattie.  Actually I had just been thinking of him and wondering how he was.  I was office secretary at FPC, Muscatine when Bill was interim pastor.  I so enjoyed the time working with him.

I always enjoyed seeing Bill and Marian, my aunt Betsy's parents, at large family get togethers. Such a sweet Christian couple. The Beattie family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
