Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 3 – 5 pm at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory. Per Rex’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com
Rex was born March 12, 1963, in Walcott Iowa to Harold Ruby and Betty Davis. He had a great sense of humor and loved to fish. Rex will be dearly missed.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Nicole (Jonathan) Lane, Ryan Ruby, Rex Ruby Jr., Kayleah Ruby; sisters, Tammy Reinders, Babette Melchi, Linda Fett; brothers, James Ruby, Scott Halter, Rick Fett and 13 grandchildren.
Rex was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Rusty Ruby.
