Richard was born February 18, 1942, the son of Leroy and Lola (Flurer) Fisher. He was married several times and had two sons, Douglas and Daniel and a daughter, Leigh.
Prior to retiring, Richard worked many years in road construction.
Those left to honor his memory include his sister, Pam Smith, Clarion, IA, niece, Heather Wolf, St. Joseph, IA, nephew, Peter Smith, Clarion, Iowa and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carole in 2019.
