Richard “Guy” Girot, 59, of Bettendorf, IA passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 10, 2024. Cremation will be done with a celebration of life to be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 1pm to 4pm at the Veterans Memorial Park 1645 23rd Street Bettendorf, IA. Guy was born February 7, 1965 to Jim & Sherry (Keyoth) Girot. He was united in marriage to Teresa Fuhr on September 14, 1996 in Davenport, IA. Guy had worked as a wood worker for several years. He enjoyed hunting, riding dirt bikes, boating, camping, and hanging out with family and friends.
Guy is survived by his wife Teresa Girot, Bettendorf; daughter Rachael Girot, Bettendorf; granddaughter Rosalina Pizano; 2 sisters Connie (Grant) Huston, Grand Mound, IA and Joy Williams, Walcott, IA; and several nieces & nephews.
Guy was preceded in death by his parents.
