With a strong sports background he coached his children’s baseball and softball teams and never missed any of their events. He was a very dedicated husband, father, and friend. He loved being able to provide whatever his family or neighbors needed—it was his passion to make sure everyone in his life was happy and cherished. The home and farm he built with his wife was a home for many, filled with memories of children at play and neighbors sitting around a fire after the end of a day’s work. His smile, humor, and gentle heart will be forever missed.
