Robert "Bobby" R. Mitchell

Funeral services for Robert 'Bobby' R. Mitchell, 23, of Davenport will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Davenport. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the mortuary. Robert died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 23rd at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport.

Robert Ronald Mitchell was born on July 27, 1995 in Cold Water, Michigan, the son of Steven and Patty (Dodson) Mitchell. He loved to play basketball and was an avid fisherman.

Surviving members of the family include - His parents: Patty (Jim) Thorington of Davenport and Steven Mitchell of Texas; 3 Sisters: Katherine Wright, Brianna Wright, and Melody Almandinger all of Davenport; 2 Brothers: Allen Morrow of Rock Island and Adam Mitchell of Harker Heights, Texas; 2 Brothers By Love: Matthew and Ryan Parris both of Davenport; his Maternal Grandparents: Allen 'Tom' and Mary Lou Dodson of Union City, Michigan; and a Special Aunt: Jo Marie Moore of Davenport.

He was preceded in death by both of his paternal Grandparents.
