Robert Lee Connole

Robert Lee Connole, a resident of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 87. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2025 at Weerts Funeral Home; Visitation will start at 10 a.m. and conclude at the time of service. Robert will be laid to rest at Davenport Memorial Park.

Robert was born on November 4, 1938, to Edward Connole and Marie (Gillooly) Connole in Davenport, Iowa. He completed his high school education at St. Ambrose Academy and went on to complete four years of trade school. He dedicated 42 years of his career to sheet metal manufacturing with Schebler Company and was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 91. Additionally, Robert served in the National Guard.

He enjoyed 58 years of marriage to Carole Pearson. Robert was a devoted member of Sacred Heart, attending 5 o'clock Mass every Saturday.

Among those left to honor Robert's life are his beloved wife, Carole, as well as four nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
