Robert H. “Bob” Gosselin, 66, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 at St. Mary Healthcare. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Mr. Gosselin was born May 21, 1944 in Lewiston, Maine, the son of Emile and Jeanne (Ploufe) Gosselin. He married Lucille Fournier on September 19, 1969 in Bangor, Maine.
Bob worked for Lee Gripp Transfer for many years and later purchased the company and renamed it Eastern Iowa Movers.
He was a loving, stubborn and hardworking man who liked doing puzzles and going to the Iowa River Boats.
Those left to honor his memory are son, Marc, and wife, Teri; daughter, Nancy; son, Robert Jr., and wife, Daniellia; son, Michael; son, Paul, and wife, Kathy; 13 grandchildren; and brother, Julian (Claire) Gosselin.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lucille; parents; and brother, Gerald Gosselin.
