

After 19 years of living without his loving wife, Patricia, Robert Hugh Graham, 91, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013, surrounded by his loving family at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, September 30, 2013 at the National Cemetery in Rock Island. Those wishing to attend the service should be at the mortuary by 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House or Genesis Hospice. Mr. Graham was born on May 7, 1922 in Fort Madison, IA, the son of Dee Haas and Dorothy ( Prebe) Graham. He was raised by his mother and step father, Clint Potter. He was married to Patricia H. Pickard on December 1, 1942 in Washington, DC.
Robert worked at Equifax for 40 years. Robert served his country as a Sergeant in the Army Infantry during World War II and was very patriotic and proud to have served. He was a very devout Christian who always read the Bible, was well known at CASI, loved to tell stories and was very people oriented.
He was a loving grandfather and enjoyed his great granddaughters and shared his wisdom with encouraging words.
Survivors include his devoted daughter, Linda Woodling; son, Mark (Karen) Graham; granddaughter, Rachel (Trent) Carel; great granddaughters, Lily Burroughs and Ava Carel; step great grandson, Devin Carel; and step grandson, Nathanael Sprott.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
