

Funeral services for Robert W. Henrick, 79, of Mountain Home, ID, formerly of Davenport, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The family will greet friends from 10:00am until service time at the church. Burial with military honors will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Henrick passed away in Mountain Home, Idaho on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements. Robert William Henrick was born on February 16, 1933 in Iowa City, IA, the eighth child of Clarence and Ruth (Neece) Henrick. During the Korean Conflict, he served in the US Army from 1953-1955. Following his military obligations, he moved back to Iowa and married Mary Margaret Tucker in 1956 in Rock Island, Illinois. They were happily married for 56 years. Mr. Henrick worked at Alcoa Company, Riverdale Works for 45 years retiring in January of 1997. Robert loved sports of any kind, and was a two time Golden Glove Boxing Champion. He also bowled in various area leagues most of his life.Robert is survived by his wife Mary; his children: Robert Scott Henrick of Mountain Home, and James Joseph Henrick of Salt Lake City, Utah; his sisters: Elizabeth Jane Alwine of Pasadena, Texas and Patricia Louise Hunt of Tyler, Texas; and 3 grandchildren: Jeffrey Hawley, Shianna Hawley and Shelby Henrick. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 daughters: Brenda Jane Henrick and Laura Lynn Henrick.
