

Born on December 11, 1948, in Centerville, Iowa, to Pauline and George Ridgway, alongside her 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Roberta dedicated her life to her family, who were truly her greatest joy and purpose. Her children and grandchildren were her everything, and she poured endless love, strength and care into each of them.
Roberta graduated from West High School in Davenport, Iowa, in 1967 and began her career in cosmetology, following her big sister’s shoes. A field she enjoyed. In 1969 she married the love of her life, Ronald G Roehlk. Together, they built and established Roehlk Construction. Roberta worked alongside Ron for 25 years, contributing greatly to the company’s growth and legacy. She also worked at Mel Foster following her passion for real estate. Later in life she was a proud founding member of Lucrative Ladies Investment Club.
She was a woman who found beauty and peace in everything around her. Roberta loved gardening, tending her flowers with a tender and artistic touch. She enjoyed bird watching and later in life found love in her arts and crafts-interests that reflected her gentle spirit and creative heart.
Yet her biggest and greatest passion in life was spending time with her family and especially her grandkids. Enjoying the pool days and the days spent at her Wapsiland property were priceless to her. The joy she found in those moments could easily be recognized in her bright smile. Her legacy will forever be imprinted in the hearts that ever experienced that smile.
She leaves behind a family who adored her and will forever cherish her memory.
Roberta is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald G. Roehlk, Their daughter’s, Ronette Carver Roehlk (Forrest), Robyn Stoetzel Roehlk (Paul), Rachelle Ochsner Roehlk (Ashly). Grandkids Tyler Stoetzel, Devynn Roehlk, Ashton Ochsner, Trevor Ochsner, Jacob Stoetzel, Rylee Stoetzel, Blake Ochsner, Luke Ochsner. Her sister Rosie Carlyle and many of the nieces and nephews she has loved along her way.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, siblings and daughter Randee Jean Roehlk.
Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 2:30pm Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. Funeral services will follow at 2:30pm in the Runge Chapel. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Please share your condolences with the family at www.Rungemortuary.com.
