Rod Stevens, 62, of Davenport passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am, Monday, March 24, 2014 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 2-5 pm Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Rodney Karl Stevens was born January 21, 1952 in Pipestone, Minnesota, a son of Lyle and Dorothea (Woelber) Stevens and was formerly married to Christine Carlson. He was most recently employed by the City of Davenport as a heavy equipment operator. His hobbies included stock car racing and riding his Harley. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include a son Jeff (Christina) Stevens; grandchildren Gaberiella and Lucas; a brother Mark(Judy) Stevens; a niece Melissa Frantz and a nephew Brian Stevens. He was preceded in death by his parents.
