Roger married Caroline Heldt April 10, 1950.
Roger was preceded in death by his wife Caroline and son Douglas. Roger is survived by his 5 children; Carolyn Dahlen, Susan Swant, Deborah Perkins, Stephanie Bloom and Ronald Perkins; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great- great-grandchildren.
Roger and Caroline were sun-lovers and enjoyed lake living, travel and Florida ocean and sun in the winters. Roger enjoyed hunting and fishing and will be remembered by his storytelling and great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
