Ronald M. Coons passed on June 7, 2026, at the age of 78. Military honors will be held on Monday June 22, 2026 at 10 am at Rock Island National Cemetery. Ron was born on September 7, 1947 in Malvern Iowa to Harold and Margaret (Kelso) Coons. He was united in marriage to Barbara Van Winkle. They had many happy years together. Ron enjoyed car rides, NASCAR and in his younger days, square dancing.
