Ronald Wayne Jones

Ronald “Squeek” Jones, 78, of Davenport passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Weerts Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Squeek was born on July 29, 1947 in Davenport to Francis and Dolores (Schroeder) McKee. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1966-1968. Squeek was united in marriage to Sandra Rich on April 6, 1968. She preceded him in death on October 25, 2013. Squeek worked for Local 81 as an insulator, retiring in 2004. He was a longtime softball, baseball and golf player. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye football and Green Bay Packers fan. He loved to travel, even on small day trips. He loved being with his family and supporting the grandkids by playing sports. Squeek was proud of his country; his favorite holiday was Veterans Day.

Survivors include his partner, Kathy Leverenz; daughter Cindy (Shawn) Agan; grandchildren, Alexis (Nick) Keppy, Aubrey Sennett, Jeremy Sennett, Kaitlyn (Kyle) Franklin, Richard Quandt, Kayla (Austin) Fielder, Kenzie (AI) Chandler, Robert (Tony) Agan; 9 great grandchildren and sister, Vicki (Steve) Schneider.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra Jones; daughter, Jenny Quandt and siblings, Jim, Bob, Dick, Jerry, Patsy, Denny, Melvin and Steve.
