Ronald L. Mercer, 69, of Davenport went home to be with his Lord on December 13, 2016. Ron was a devoted brother, uncle and friend. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for you and expected nothing in return.
He loved his Harley’s muscle cars and bass fishing.
H was born September 9, 1947 to Wayne and Mercer and Marjorie I. Mercer in Davenport, IA. May they rest in peace.
Left to honor him is his son, Shaun Mercer; granddaughter, Josie; sisters: Patricia I. Carrillo, Nancy L. Mercer, Deborah S. Mercer, and Lorrie Fitzgibbon, all of Davenport; brothers: Randal E. Mercer, Davenport, and Richard W. Mercer, Maryville, TN; nephews: Nathan Fitzgibbon, Eldridge, Marco Carrillo, Davenport, and Matt Mercer, Rock Island; nieces: Tammy Carillo, Nicole Rush and Amber Atkins, all of Davenport, Ashley Atkins, Eldridge, and Rachelle Loerzel, Japan and great-nieces and great-nephews.
