Ronald H. Stoltenberg

Ronald H. Stoltenberg, 77, of Donahue, passed away January 31, 2016 in Mesa, AZ. Graveside services will be held at a later date for family and friends at Allen’s Grove Cemetery. Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics Cornea Services. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Ronald was born on July 18, 1938 in Davenport, the son of Harry and Irma B. (Kay) Stoltenberg. He was united in marriage to Judie Rohlk on January 28, 1961 in Eldridge. He was a lifelong farmer and served in the United States Marine Corps. Ronald loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He was the past president of the Donahue Sportsman’s Club and a member of the Donahue Volunteer Fire Department and Walcott Community Club. Survivors include his wife, Judie; daughters, Sherri (Matt) Fleming, Donahue and Nancy (Loren) Schlapkohl, Stockton; grandchildren, Remington Fleming, CO, Justine Eller, Donahue, Kyle Schlapkohl, Waterloo and Paige Schlapkohl, Stockton and great grandson, Beckett Eller. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Jeff.
