Davenport, IA Graveside services for Ronald R. Wolfe, 72, of Eldridge, will be 1:30 pm on Wednesday at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Family and friends wishing to attend the graveside services will meet at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary on Wednesday at 1:00pm.Ronald passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.Cunnick-Collins Mortuary in charge of arrangments.Ronald R. Wolfe was born on February 1, 1937 in Davenport, the son of Jesse and Caroline (Wohrle) Wolfe. He married Patricia Joan Patrick on July 10, 1959 in Elizabeth City, N.C. He had worked for Burroughs/Unisys from 1960 to 1990 as a Computer Technician and then at Old Country Buffett as Kitchen Manager, retiring in 2002. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps.Survivors include his wife Patricia of Eldridge, sons; Patrick Wolfe of Eldridge, Mark Wolfe of Davenport, Thomas Wolfe of Parkview, daughters; Beverly Gray of Eldridge, Stacey Daughenbaugh of Rock Island, 9 grandchildren (known to some as Papa), 1 great-grandchild, brothers; Henry Wolfe of Corpus Christi, TX, Chester Wolfe of Florida, and sister; Marie Durham of Davenport.He was preceded in death by his parents, and several brothers and sisters. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Cunnick-Collins Mortuary.
