Rosemary Shadden

Rosemary Shadden, 72, of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 4 to 6 pm at the mortuary. Private burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

She was born April 1, 1944 in Centerville, IA; the daughter of Lloyd and Iris (White) Cowan. On March 4, 1961 she married Bobbie Shadden in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2011.

She was employed as Center Supervisor for UPS prior to her retirement. She had a great love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who were her life.

Survivors include: daughter, Robin (Brian) Hibbs; son, Robert Shadden; grandchildren: Sonja Cadovious, Shelby McMurrin, Alex McMurrin, Sam Willson, Brent Shadden, Ryan Shadden and Jessica Shadden; numerous great grandchildren; brothers: Larry (Karen) Cowan, Garry (Bernadine) Cowan and Lyle (Betty Lou) Cowan; sisters: Kim (Matt) Adams and Sonya (Tom) Swan.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Cowan and Iris Andeway.
