Ruth Virginia Luth

Ruth Virginia Luth, age 93, passed away on May 7, 2026. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 AM Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Ridgecrest Koning Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 10 AM. Burial will take place at Davenport Memorial Park following services.

Ruth was born on January 29, 1933, in Arlington, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Milly Livezey. Ruth was united in marriage to Delmor Luth on May 14, 1955, in Oelwein, Iowa. One of her favorite hobbies was shopping. She frequently visited the resale shop at Ridgecrest Village. She also loved to bake and was known for making her German chocolate cakes.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Delmor, and her parents.

She is survived by her son, Don (Becky) Luth; Sister, Lorena Oltrogge; two granddaughters, Nicole (Brian) Schlough and Laura (Michael) Murphy; and three great-grandsons, Braden, Maximus, and Camden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ridgecrest Foundation in Davenport by visiting their website. Their mission is to enhance, enrich, engage, and support the lives of those living at Ridgecrest Village.
