Private funeral services for Ruth A. Wolfe, age 66, of Davenport were held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Wolfe died on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at Genesis Medical Center East Campus, Davenport. Ruth Ann Woehrle was born on January 10, 1943, to Wesley and Eleanor (Carstensen) Woehrly in Davenport, IA. She married Duane Wolfe on April 19, 1986 in Davenport.Mrs. Wolfe worked in customer service for various Quad City businesses, the most recent being Osco Drug. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping, and was an avid gardener and quilter. Survivors include her Husband: Duane Wolfe of Davenport; a Daughter: Lorie (Devin) Dykes of Iowa City, IA; two Brothers: Mike ( Dottie) Woehrly of Orion, IL and Steve ( Meg) Woehrly of Donahue, IA; 3 Grandchildren: Nicole, Jamie, and Jacob, and 1 Great-Grandchild: Cayden.She was preceded in death by her parents.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice.
