Ryan was born on August 4, 1981, in Davenport, IA. Survivors include two daughters, Kiara and Ryleigh Flockhart; parents, Dennis (Joleen) Flockhart, Linda (Mike Pointer) Flockhart; brothers, Joshua (Nickie) Flockhart and Bryon Leighton; sister, Kaylee Flockhart; grandparents, LouAnne (James) Dewoody and Elvina Stocker; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Flockhart and Floyd Stocker.
His biggest love was for his family, especially his two beautiful daughters. He attended school functions, helped organize events, and was either coaching or at the sideline of every volleyball, basketball, soccer or softball game possible, cheering and encouraging all the kids. He will be deeply missed by all.
He was a member of Carpenters Union #4 and was employed by Walsh Construction currently working on the I-74 bridge project. Ryan has always been good with his hands; roofing, siding, remodeling, you name it, he could build it or improve it. People were always asking him for his expert advice.
He was a natural athlete and excelled in every sport. He loved to golf with his buddies, bowled, played volleyball, softball, and was a talented soccer player. Ryan was a dedicated Cubs fan, he enjoyed grilling, a good practical joke and could always make you smile and laugh.
