Sarah ‘Lucille’ (White) Speed, 70, passed away on February 7th, 2020 in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 14th, 2020 at Weerts Funeral Home 3625 Jersey Ridge Rd, Davenport, IA 52807 from 4 to 7pm.

Funeral services will be on Saturday February 15th, 3 pm at Weerts Funeral Home.

Lucille was born on May 17th, 1949 in Emporia, Kansas to Don White and Hilda Lucille Fashion. She attended Lyndon High School, class of 1967. Lucille married Clifford ‘Cliff’ Speed on November 20th, 1970 in Lyndon, Kansas. Lucille and her family moved to Bettendorf, Iowa in 1986. For the past 25 years Lucille worked as an insurance underwriter for Lorenzen- Steffen Insurance Inc.

She is survived by her husband, Cliff Speed, brother Donald White, two sons, Jeff (Dawn) Speed and Bryan Speed. 4 grandchildren Austin (Cady) Speed, Joelle Boleen, Hailey Cantrill, Nathaniel Stiner and 2 great-grandchildren, Lylah and Waylon Speed.

Lucille is proceeded in death by her parents and stepmother, Ruth White.
