S. Ruthann Wymore, 83, of East Moline, IL passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after battling MS for 40 years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11am at Weerts Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10am until time of service. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park following the service. Memorials in Ruthann’s name may be made to First Christian Church or to the MS Society.
Ruthann was born on October 12, 1939 in Davenport, Iowa to Charles and Helen Fairall. Following high school, she went to work for Petersen Harned Von Maur and later at Crescent Electrical as a clerk. Ruthann loved all things music; she played the piano, organ, and cello growing up. When she was no longer able to play, she would spend her time listening to others play. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, and various other crafts when her health permitted.
Those left to honor her memory are her sons Edgar (Janice) Wymore and Christopher (Kimberly) Wymore; six grandchildren: Cosette (Frank), Annastasia (Michal), Edgar Charles II, Ethan, Joshua, and Gwendolyn; a great-granddaughter Ania Kisiel; and sister Christine Muegge.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Charles Clayton Fairall.
