Sandra Kay Clark

A funeral service will be at 10:30 am Friday July 17, 2026 at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory Davenport. The family will greet friends 9:30am to 10:30 am Friday at the mortuary. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery Rock Island, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society. Sandra was a devoted wife to her husband, Richard (Dick), who preceded her in death in 2005, and a loving mother to her two daughters, Taina and Beth. She was adored by everyone who knew her and kind to everyone she met.

Sandra enjoyed her job as a bookkeeper at Osco Drug for many years, and worked for Midland Press, also volunteering at the Blood Center and at the food pantry. After retiring she loved traveling with her husband and after he passed, with her best friend, Diane Gelaude.

She visited many exotic and exciting places and loved to share her trip photos and stories with family and friends.

Her Christian faith was an integral part of her life. She and Dick were devoted members of Bettendorf Christian Church, showing kindness and the love of Christ to everyone she met.

Sandra adored her many cats over the years and her most recent cat, Dominoe, was a constant companion and source of joy.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; mother and father, Osie and Delbert Millard; and sister, Joanne Dibbern.

She is survived by her daughters, Taina (Jim) Brown of Bettendorf, IA, and Beth (Darrin) Clark McDonal of Williamsburg, VA; and three grandchildren, Jim (JD) Brown, Jennifer Brown, and Duncan McDonal; nieces Julie Barry & Jackie Dibbern; nephews Jerry and Gene Dibbern.
