Sandra "Sandy" F. Squire

The only daughter of Everette and Janet Squire, Sandy was born on April 25, 1955. Growing up in Davenport, she attended Madison Elementary, JB Young, and graduated from Davenport Central in 1973. From there Sandy received a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa in 1977.

In her professional career, Sandy had a passion for serving others through teaching and counseling those with addictions.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Sandy. She loved gathering with friends to enjoy micro brews, traveling, swimming, painting, and laughing. One of her greatest loves was with her Dachshunds.

Preceded in death by her parents, Sandy leaves behind brothers EJ Squire (Jackie), Bill Squire (Kathy), many cousins, nephews, nieces, and her longtime friend, Todd Hockridge of Lincoln, NE.
