Scott Allen Palmer, 58, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 2:30 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Friday from noon until 2:30 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be at a later date in Rose Hill Cemetery in Buffalo, IA. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com. Scott was born March 26, 1955 in Davenport; the son of John Palmer and Jean (Nelson) Eis. He worked in property management for 30 years, the last nine years as a maintenance technician for the Alexander Company.
He was an avid runner and had run the Bix for the last thirty years continually. He loved target hand gun shooting and reloaded his own ammunition.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Jean Eis; Galesburg, IL; sister, Lynn Bachelder, Rio, IL; niece, Elizabeth Cervantes; nephew, David Cervantes; and special friend, Lisa Stang, Davenport. His father preceded him in death.
