Shanti was born in India on May 8,1940 and immigrated to the United States with her husband and children in 1967. Shanti enjoyed shopping, cooking, practicing spirituality, spending time with family, and socializing with friends. Survivors include: her son Ramon (Madhavi), her daughters Sarita, Bibha, and Ila (Robert), her eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Shanti was preceded in death by her husband, Vidyapati, and daughter, Sudha.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing and rituals at the Runge Mortuary in Davenport, Iowa on Monday, February 2nd, 2026 from 1pm-4pm.
