A visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. A private family burial will be held at Dunville Cemetery in Floris, IA, where she will be laid to rest. Memorials may be made to the family.
Sharon was born on August 12, 1953, to Ira and Anna (Weimer) Snodgrass in Morrison, IL. She was united in marriage to Larry E. Stogdill.
Sharon was a feisty, strong-willed, no-nonsense woman. She was a hardworking wife and mother who was fiercely dedicated to her family. Sharon loved flowers, her garden, and did whatever needed to be done.
Those left honoring her memory are her son, Randy (Leslie) Bare; daughter, Anna (Reggie) Nimrick; 6 grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Nancy, Marie, Leona, Dick, and Dean.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings.
