

Sharon Joyce Harper, 81, of Clarence, IA, was called home on January 3, 2026, at Premier Estates in Muscatine, IA. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Weerts Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park.
Sharon was born June 2, 1944, in Davenport, IA, to Everett and Martien (Buck) Harper. She had a natural love and compassion to care for the elderly. She worked as a CNA for 40 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, doing jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, playing cards, bingo, and Scrabble. Sharon was a super fan of Days of Our Lives. She had a knack for finding a good bargain at garage sales and thrift stores, but her biggest passion was the love for her family. Especially her bond with Sabrina and Gabby.
She will be remembered for her sense of humor, creativity, her dedication, and all of her hard work. Sharon always made her family feel loved, whether it was taking her family to the zoo, parks, family vacations, or hosting holiday gatherings.
Those left to carry on her legacy are her children, John Roth, Michelle Chavez, Kim Salinas, Mindy (Celestino) Hernandez, Sabrina Roth, and Gabrielle Roth; her grandchildren, Heather, Samantha, Katlyn, Lindsey, and Benjamin; her great-grandchildren, Orion and Harper; her sister-in-law, Deana Harper; and many loved nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Martien Harper; her brothers, James, Gerald, and Richard Harper; her daughter, Tina; and her beloved dogs.
