Sharon K. Hinton

Visitation will be held 11 – 12pm at the House of the Lord Church on Friday, November 21, 2025. Funeral services will begin at 12 pm. House of the Lord Church is located at 537 W 15th St. Davenport, Iowa, 52803. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.rungemortuary.com.

Sharon was born on September 6, 1950, in Davenport, Iowa to Chester and Edna (Allen) Wyatt. On May 22, 1971, she was united in marriage to Richard Hinton. They have enjoyed 54 years of marriage. She enjoyed attending church, crocheting, singing, being outside, tending to her flowers and especially caring for her family.

Sharon had a caring heart and was selfless. She was a devoted member of House of the Lord Church where she served faithfully as a missionary. She taught Sunday school, vacation Bible school and sang in the choir. Her love for God and her church family shown through everything she did.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Richard; children, Angela (Jamie) Lewis, Richard Jr. (Juanita) Hinton, Joseph (Amanda) Hinton, Corey Hinton, Joshua Hinton; grandchildren, Jessica, Shante, Lincoln Jr., Simone, Kierra, Lintrice, Alijah, Isaiah, Devin, Josiah, Jayden, Corey Jr., Angelina, Ava, Aliyah, Cameron, Savannah, Kaitlyn, Richard III, Ariana, Zighya; 12 greatgrandchildren; siblings, Beverly Johnson, Michael (Delores) Wyatt and a host of nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Kaylijah and siblings.

Sharon was deeply loved by all that knew her and will be missed.
