Sherry was born November 5, 1950, in Davenport, IA to Charles & Margaret (Gordon) McGill. She was united in marriage to Paul Stephen November 8, 1969, they later separated. Sherry had worked at Waldenbooks and more recently at Harris Pizza Rock Island prior to her retirement. Sherry enjoyed bowling and softball participating in several leagues. She was an avid reader who enjoyed all kinds of books, watching the St. Louis Cardinals & Indiana Fever and loved spending time with her family often playing different games, where her competitive side would show. She was a very loving person with a special place in her heart for children.

She is survived by daughter Jennifer (Doug Leyendecker) Behm, Hackettstown, NJ; son Christopher (Amy) Behm, Dunlap, IL; 2 grandchildren Lucas & Avery Behm; brother Rick (Marlene) McGill, CA; sister Laura (Marv) Drumm Davenport, IA; sister-in-law Sue McGill, Bettendorf, IA; and several aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.

Sherry was preceded in death by her mother Margaret & Robert Cobb, her father Charles McGill, and brother Skip McGill.
