Bettendorf, IA Memorial services for Sherry Reem, 76, of Bettendorf will be 11:00 am on Tuesday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Family will greet friends on Tuesday from 10:00 am to service time at the mortuary. Inurnment will take place at the Rock Island national Cemetery, Rock Island. Cunnick - Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.Sherry passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.Sherry Lee Burns was born on November 3, 1940 in Sterling, Illinois, the daughter of LeRoy and Gladys (Mangan) Burns. She married Ron Reem on August 28, 1966 in Port Byron, IL. She worked at ESCP Corporation for 20 years as an Office Manager. Sherry graduated from Riverdale Schools and then attended Western Illinois University , and Scott Community College, where she received her Associates degree.Survivors include her husband, Ron of Bettendorf, daughter; Lenore (Jeff) Littig of Bettendorf, Son; Scott (Lorie) Reem of Davenport, grandchildren; Steven Reem, Karley Littig, Nikki and Megan Reem, brother; Richard (Linda) Burns, nephews; Ken and Jeff Burns, grand niece; Cora and Claire Burns, sister-in-law; Rae Reem and many cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, as well as maternal and paternal aunts and uncles.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center via their website at www.givetoiowa.org/2017cr22 in memory of Sherryl Reem.Remembrances and condolences may be made to the family at www.cunnick-collins.com.
