Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the mortuary.

Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Sherry was born August 21, 1943 in Ft. Dodge, IA; the daughter of Arthur A. and Ellen Mae (Wegman) Martin. She married Leonard G. Watts on September 9, 1988 in Davenport; he preceded her in death on January 18, 2004. She worked at Nor Cross (Service Rubber) for several years. She loved to read and take care of her kids and grandkids.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Rich (Kris) Overmann, Davenport; Shela (Ralph) Alatorre, Davenport; Cheryl Cervantes, Davenport; step-daughter, Denise Watts, Davenport; stepsons: Terry (Patty) Watts, DeWitt, IA and Mark (Delores) Watts, Clinton, IA; grandchildren: LaRhonda, Ryan, Austin, Jackson, Tyler, Gina, Ben, Josh, Andrew, Nicole, Justin and Crystal; two great grandchildren and seven brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers and sisters.
