Shirley G. Dahl

Funeral services will be held at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory on Wednesday, December 6 at 12 noon. Visitation will be held from 10am to service time. Shirley will be laid to rest at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.rungemortuary.com.

Shirley was born on June 17, 1932 in Montpelier Iowa to Alphonse and Helen (Fahy) Bujewski. Shirley graduated from Durant High School in 1950 and married Fred E. Dahl on April 21, 1951 at Knoops Hall in Stockton, Iowa. She was a homemaker and loved the Chicago Cubs and bingo.

She is survived by her sons: Brian (Linda “Sue”Wellmeier) Dahl of Davenport, IA, Brad (Regina Ptak) Dahl of Davenport, IA; daughters, Brigitte (John) Cesar of Davenport, IA and Brandy (Don) Harland of Buffalo, IA; daughter-in-law Cynthia (Simpson) Dahl; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Fred E. Dahl; son, Bruce Wayne Dahl; siblings, Dorothy Liniger, Clement “Bud” Bujewski, Betty Lou “Babe” Vastine and Janice Bujewski.
