The visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at The Runge Mortuary. A private memorial service will be held at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice and online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
The daughter of Horace and Bessie (Stephens) Kopf, Shirley was born on February 4, 1933 in Eliza, Illinois. She spent the last 35 years with her companion, Robert Scannell, until his death in January 2014. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. There was never a day that went by that Shirley wasn’t concerned about the welfare of her family. Her family enjoyed her wit, sense of humor and her sweet smile. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her sons, Randy (Charlene) McIntyre, Rickey (Janet) McIntyre, Rory (Rose) McIntyre, Donald (Sharon) McIntyre and Marty McIntyre and her daughter Sandy McIntyre; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; one brother Ed Kopf of Muscatine.
