Shirley A. Stevens, 97, of Bettendorf, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Fountains, Bettendorf. She will be laid to rest at Rock Island National Cemetery on Friday, August 29, 2025. A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at High Point Bible Chapel. Online condolences may be expressed at www.weertsfh.com.
Shirley was born on February 3, 1928, in Crescent City, IL to George and Marie (Payton) Anderson. She was united in marriage to August R. Stevens on June 16, 1946, in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2015.
Shirley was a member of High Point Bible Chapel. She enjoyed studying her bible and reading. Shirley enjoyed talking and visiting with friends and family.
Survivors include her children, Richard Stevens, Pamela Faulkner, Kathryn Stevens, Roger Stevens, and Todd Stevens.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, brothers, Clarance Anderson and George “Bill” Anderson, grandson, Eric Stevens and great-grand daughter, Millie Grace Faulkner.
