Sondra Jean Connelly

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, November 4, 2011 at First Assembly of God, Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Thursday, November 3, 2011at The Runge Mortuary. Sondra was born on November 3, 1939 in Douds, Iowa, the daughter of Russell and Esther (Wiles) Henderson. She married Dennis Connelly on June 24, 1961 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Burlington, Iowa.

Sondra was a life long member of First Assembly of God, Bettendorf. She was an avid Hawkeye, Cubs, and Bears fan. She loved listing to music and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include, husband, Dennis, Bettendorf; daughter Kim Gosch, Davenport; siblings, Judy (Max) McAbee, Fairmount, GA, Joyce (Richard) Moore, Danville, Iowa, Gary (Bonnie) Henderson, David (Cathy) Henderson, and Darl Henderson, all of West Burlington, Iowa; grandchildren Zac and Marissa Gosch and many that knew her as grandma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Jerry Henderson.
