Stella L. Flowers

Stella L. Flowers, 86, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Good Samaritan Nursing Center. Private funeral services will be held in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Stella was born on May 21, 1929 in Udell, IA, the daughter of Charles and Nina (Adam) Jarvis. She was united in marriage to Robert Marion Flowers in Centerville, IA in 1953. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was a sales clerk for many years at several department stores and enjoyed planting flowers, sewing, crocheting, genealogy and making quilts.

She is survived by four sons and one daughter, Jeryl (Debra) Bennett, Jefferson City, MO, Robert (Maria) Flowers, Villahermosa, Mexico, Mark Flowers, Davenport, Randall Flowers, Rock Island and Tisha (Frank) Wright, Neosha, MO; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Lonnie; brothers and sisters, John Monroe, Matty, Arlene and Reva and Burdine.
