Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, from 4-7 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be dispersed over several charities.
Stephanie was born April 9, 1975, in Cedar Rapids, IA. Her parents are Benjamin and Kathleen (O’Daniels) Akers. She was currently employed as a supervisor at Target.
Stephanie was a compassionate, fun-loving woman with the best smile and sense of humor. She loved scrapbooking, horror movies, Mexican food, margaritas, and spending time at the river fishing.
Those celebrating her life include her parents, Benjamin and Kathleen Akers; siblings, Matt (Ashley Lightle) Akers, Regina (James) Slama, Kristen and Casey Barnes; maternal grandmother, Mary O’Daniels; significant other, Brian Clairmont; mother-in-law, Diana Cruchelow; nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Amanda, Cyrus, Desiree, Logan, Dylan, Jasmine, and Conner; great nieces and nephews; and her beloved fur-babies, Remi and Raine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Cruchelow.
